Delete Your Account

You can delete your ROWMATE account, and all the data attached to it, at any time. This page explains how.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open ROWMATE and sign in
2. Go to the Profile tab
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
4. Confirm

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer open the app

Send an e-mail to rowmateworld@gmail.com from the e-mail address of your account, with the subject "Delete my ROWMATE account". We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity
• Your profile and all your profile photos
• Your private messages, sent and received
• Your messages in the group chats of places, and your presence in any place
• Your waves, connection requests, connections and blocks
• Your notification token

What may be kept

• Reports made against your account, for as long as needed to keep the community safe and meet legal obligations
• Purchase records held by Apple or Google, which we cannot delete. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.

Delete only part of your data

Without deleting your account you can, in the app: remove a photo, edit your profile, delete a connection and its conversation, delete a message you sent, or hide your profile from Discover.
