RowmateROWMATE ("Rowmate") is a social app for adults. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Adults only
Rowmate is reserved for adults. Minors are not allowed to create an account. Any account that we find, or are told, belongs to a minor is removed.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises minors, including photos, videos, drawings, text or voice messages.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation or sextortion of a minor, or any attempt to meet a minor.
- Child trafficking, and any content that promotes or trivialises the abuse of children.
This applies everywhere in the app: profiles, photos, private chats and place chats.
How to report
In the app, open the person's profile or press and hold one of their messages, then choose Report. You can block the person at the same time. You can also write to rowmateworld@gmail.com at any time, without having an account.
What we do
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; reports involving a minor are handled first.
- Offending content is removed and the account is permanently banned.
- We report child sexual abuse material and suspected exploitation to the competent authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant national law-enforcement bodies, and we cooperate with their investigations in accordance with applicable law.
